One-Sided Deadbolt Function- One-Sided deadbolt operates by Thumbturn from one side only - NO KEYED CYLINDER. (One Sided - meant to be used on doors that do NOT have a hole drilled all the way through them)

Single Deadbolt Function- Single cylinder deadbolt operates with a key on the exterior and a thumbturn on the interior (For use on exterior doors where additional security is needed, pair with a keyed entry for two points of locking)

Double Deadbolt Function- Double cylinder deadbolt operates with a key on the exterior and interior (For use on exterior doors with glass panes or gates where additional security is needed)
